Dr. Kan Chandra

Dr. Chandra( Kanagasabapathy Chandrasegaram) completed his early education at Mahajana College and successfully completed his High School education at Skanthavarothaya College, in Jaffna, Sri Lanka in 1972. Then he entered the University of Ceylon – Peradeniya Campus, and satisfyingly completed a degree in the Bachelor of Dental Surgery, in 1975. With a degree under his belt, he assumed duties as a dentist in 1976 at the Dental Institute in Colombo, Sri Lanka. Furthermore, he continued to work in rural areas of the southern part of the island such as Kalutara, as well as the tea plantation area of Thalawakale, where Ceylon tea originates from.
